Guardians 2 Post Credit Scenes And Critical Reactions

We’re a little over 2 weeks away from Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2 kicking off a marvelous summer at the movies and the critical reactions are rolling in.  With PR efforts in full swing, fans planning their costumes, and the premiere happening tomorrow, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is slated to be a film for the ages and the reactions are looking good.  Let’s break down just what we’ve got coming from Marvel for Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2 and just what it means for fans hoping to hit the movie theaters May 4th 2017.

The overwhelming critical response for Guardians of the Galaxy has been overwhelmingly positive.  It’s no surprise, the rogue team of “a-holes” were a break out hit (and a natural fit for Disney with their talking tree and talking raccoon like creature).

The Guardians of the Galaxy team are the ultimate loveable rogues and the colors (the colors you guys!) make this a hit for the ages.  We’re in love with how Marvel is making their own colorful cosmic universe.  Here’s hoping the art direction, set design, and production design stay on point through Guardians 3 and beyond.

Overwhelmingly it seems to be something that everyone across outlets is getting ready to bond over.  While superhero fair runs the gauntlet from serious and grim – Guardians is very much the light and funny that we might need in a world that could use some people saving the Galaxy (Obviously)

 

The premiere is tomorrow.  Be sure to check out Marvel’s livestream of the event and watch the stars of Marvel Film and Television walk the carpet!

While you’re deep in space and enjoying the cosmic marvel universe it’s important to stay to see everything.  Particularly with the news that The Guardians will be in Avengers: Infinity War.  James Gunn has helpfully provided information about that confirming that there are no less then 5 post credit scenes offering looks at various characters from the Guardians universe.

With actors like Sylvester Stallone and Nathan Fillion playing various and sundry characters, here’s hoping that these cameos get a chance to shine five (five?! yes five!) times.  It’s worth seeing to appreciate the hard work that goes into every frame of the film and make sure everyone who worked on it gets a chance to have their work seen – from the VFX specialists to the PAs.
