Dakota North
For those that might not know, Dakota North is a Marvel character created in 1986 by Martha Thomases and Tony Salmons. Like Jessica, Dakota is a private investigator. Unlike Jessica, Dakota has no technical power. Though, she is skilled at fighting, gymnastics and multiple firearms. I think she’d be perfect for an ABC, Jessica Jones like show. They could still get their smart alic P.I. without have to delve into the more mature aspects of the Netflix show. Also, in the comics, Dakota has befriended many known Marvel characters. Together, those elements could lead to a good show that’s free to go in many different directions.
