While they had a couple of misses, for the most the posters for Spider-Man: Homecoming were pretty spectacular. One of these posters though that mostly everyone agreed was great was the one featuring Spidey taking a bit of a break with his headphones on (which is featured below). Well, it seems there’s a bit of an interesting story about that poster according to star Tom Holland. Speaking with Cinema Blend, the film’s star revealed that particular poster was actually inspired by a photo seen of him asleep on set.
“Interesting story about that poster is that is actually me asleep. That’s not part of the movie, that’s me in-between takes asleep. We were shooting this scene and I was just really tired that day, and I was just asleep on the floor, and the photographer took a picture. So when they made that the poster, I was like ‘What the hell, guys!’”
