In an interview with Radio Times, directors Joe and Anthony Russo revealed that actress Carrie Coon will voice Proxima Midnight in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War.
The Tony and Emmy-nominated actress is best known for her lead roles in the television series Fargo and The Leftovers. She most recently appeared in The Post.
Her character Proxima Midnight is a member of the evil Black Order who work for Thanos. In the comics, she is married to fellow Black Order member Corvus Glaive. You can read more about the pair and their comics history here.
Coon later tweeted about the role, noting she was pregnant while filming the motion-capture work.

In the same interview, the Russos confirmed Irish actor Tom Vaughan-Lawlor voices Ebony Maw and Terry Notary (Avatar, Planet of the Apes, The Hobbit trilogy) will perform as the mostly-silent Cull Obsidian. This leaves one member of the Black Order, Corvus Glaive, who has not had casting announced.
Conveniently, actor Peter Dinklage has been confirmed for the film with his role yet to be revealed. It’s looking more and more like he might be Corvus Glaive.
Avengers: Infinity War opens in theatres April 27.
