The Marvel TV shows are about to get a major upgrade! Variety revealed today that the upcoming Disney streaming service is developing several limited series for characters like Loki, Scarlet Witch and many more.
The actors who play these characters would be set to reprise these characters. However, according to Variety, these shows would not be under the Marvel Television umbrella, run by Jeph Loeb. Each show that would happen, would consist of 6-8 episodes per season.
Word on the budgets for each other of these productions was not revealed, although Variety’s Justin Kroll states that they are expected to be “heft” on film production level. No writers or producers have yet to be attached to these projects while storylines for the respective show is being worked out.
Per the report, we would also get shows for other popular heroes who haven’t gotten their own spin-off films. Kevin Feige, who is the head of Marvel Studios, is said to be involved with all these shows.
