Marvel-Female-Superheroes

Top 5 Picks for ABC’s Female Superhero Show

2. Elsa Bloodstone

Introduced in 2001, in her own self-titled series Bloodstone, Elsa is a strange but awesome character. She is the daughter of an aerchiologist and the world’s best monster hunter. When old enough, she follows in her father’s footsteps, using the mystical artifact the book was named after. The Bloodstone grants her advanced abilities, a healing factor and blood that poison to vampires. She also has multiple guns and magic artifacts at her disposal.

Thanks to Supernatural, Wynonna Earp and multiple upcoming tv shows, the supernatural genre is currently very popular. Now could be the time for Marvel to explore their vast supernatural community within the comics. With Elsa on the team, they could explore it without making it the focus. She also has a very quippy attitude that could add to the team dynamic. On top of that, she could add a strange but fun element to the show with all the wackiness in her world. For example, one of her magic artifacts is an actual lamp with an actual genie in it.
