Ahead of its series premiere next week on DC Universe, Titans have been renewed for a second season which was announced as part of the world premiere screening at New York Comic-Con today. During the panel, executive producer Geoff Johns stated that they have “already mapped out” what new characters we will see in the second season.
“We know [the plot] of Season 2. we know all the characters in Season 2. Marv Wolfman will be very happy when we do Season 2.”
And for those wondering, yes Titans Podcast Season 2 is also happening!
“Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.”
Titans stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan K. Potter, Minka Kelly, Alan Ritchson, and Lindsey Gort as Dick Grayson a.k.a. Nightwing, Princess Koriand’r a.k.a. Starfire, Rachel Roth a.k.a. Raven, Garfield Logan a.k.a. Beast Boy, Hank Hall a.k.a. Hawk, Dawn Granger a.k.a. Dove and Detective Amy Rohrbach respectively. The series is set to debut on Friday, October 12 on DC Universe.
