Cloak & Dagger‘s showrunner Joe Pokaski is the keeper of many secrets regarding one of our favorite Marvel Television shows. Season 2 is already shaping up to be an exciting one with new characters, including the addition of the green-nailed Mayhem. There’s bound to be plenty of surprises in store for us when the second season gets underway tonight.
One surprise (or perhaps not quite so much a surprise since fans have been begging for it) Pokaski has started to let the press in on is on the potential crossover between Cloak & Dagger and Hulu’s Runaways.
In an interview with TV Guide, Joe Pokaski said this about Tandy and Tyrone potentially meeting the six Runaways teens:
“I get to write a television show about my favorite characters in the world. I married way above my weight when I met my wife so I have ways of making things happen. And I’m working very hard to make that happen.”
This is not exactly a confirmation, but it is certainly progress. While the show will be introducing three new characters this season — Andre Deschaine (Brooklyn McLinn), Lia Dewan (Dilshad Vadsaria) and Mikayla Bell (Cecilia Leal) — fans will agree that there is definitely room for a Runaways crossover.
