For those wondering why Patsy Walker A.K.A Hellcat hasn’t be on Marvel’s May solicitations, we’ve got the update! Unfortunately, Hellcat will be wrapping with #17. Kate Leth made the announcement on her twitter. We’re all sad to see the book go, but like all good things, it must come to an end.
Hey friends! You may have noticed that Hellcat is absent from May’s Marvel solicitations. It’s true, we’re ending at issue 17! On our terms.

Kate made a thread on her twitter going into further detail that as much as her and the whole Hellcat team has enjoyed writing the book, they wanted to end the run on their terms. Her thread was very touching and a little heart breaking, but we’re sure Kate and the rest of the Hellcat team will go on to do more great work that we’ll love.
Issues #16 and #17 are the last of the series and will be coming out, and then a few months after the final issues, the final collection will be out. As more news regarding the final issues of Hellcat are known, we’ll update you right away.
Patsy Walker A.K.A Hellcat has been one of the inclusive books in the past year or two, so it’s definitely sad to see it come to an end. However, we hope it’s not the last of Kate Leth in the Marvel Comics Universe.
Who’s sad to see Hellcat go? Are you looking forward to Kate’s work in the future? Is there a Marvel character you’d love to see Kate and her team take a crack at? Let us know in the comments!
As always, we’ll continue to update you on all things Hellcat and Marvel.
