So this post is going to be a bit brief because by now I think the news is out there. But if you missed anything from the Marvel Animation panel here we go! Sadly, due to schedule conflicts, all of this information is courtesy of Comic Book Revolution.
The panel started off with introducing the panel of Cort Lane and Stephen Wacker, but quickly after they brought out Margaret Scott, Marty Isenberg, Danny Wolf and Eugene Son. They then kicked off the panel by showing off a clip from the upcoming Spider-Man series in which we see Peter in his homemade suit. It’s quickly cut off as they tease that they will show it later and give backgrounds on themselves. We then go into Guardians talk and what they had originally planned to do with Season 1’s finale. Originally it was planned that the Avengers were going to face off with the Guardians but was scrapped for a season 2 team up, though they always planned for the Guardians to end up on Earth. Season 2 will also start off with an appearance of Thanos and a mysterious sarcophagus that will carry through the season. They show a clip and it’s a bit on the

Season 2 will also start off with an appearance of Thanos and a mysterious sarcophagus that will carry through the season. They show a clip and it’s a bit on the spoilery side of things so I won’t talk about it until I get to that in my catch-up reviews.
The panel then continues onto Avengers Assemble and what’s to come for the next season including characters and voices. Most of this was revealed at NYCC so if you need a refresher you can check that post out. But they do show off a clip of the Avengers, with Peggy Carter and Howard Stark, fighting Kang.
There’s a Q&A that follows with the panel talking about things they couldn’t include as well as denying an X-Men cartoon rumor.
It then all comes back to the Spider-Man clip and again it could be potential spoilers but from what I’ve heard it is reminiscent of Spectacular Spider-Man.
And that about does it for Marvel Animation at Wondercon. As always stay tuned here for more of my animation stuff. I also apologize for the lack of my coverage lately. Life has been crazy.
