Synopsis: “After discovering their parents are super-villains in disguise, a group of teenagers bands together to run away from their homes in order to atone for their parents’ actions and to discover the secrets of their origins.”

Showrunners Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (The O.C., Gossip Girl) along with Jeph Loeb, will bring the story of the Runaways to life. Jim Chory (Daredevil) and Lis Rowinski (Fake Empire) will also assist with the project. The show began filming in February and is set to air in 2018. Runaways will air exclusively on Hulu. The first trailer is expected to be released on May 3.

Runaways follows a group of six teenagers in the Marvel universe – Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Molly Hayes, Chase Stein, Alex Wilder, and Gertrude Yorkes – who discover that their parents are secretly members of a supervillain cabal called The Pride. After deciding they’re no longer safe in their own homes, the kids go on the run. In the midst of hiding from their elders, the teens learn about themselves and become a family of their own.
