Episode 2: Gorgon
So there’s a lot that I got wrong last week that I didn’t end up mentioning in the article. But this week you will be able to recruit Gorgon, get a new costume for Ms. Marvel, a new costume for Loki, and pick up another premium character. I’m a little more than upset right now because they are not using a similar mechanic that they had in the Spidey event this year for the grand prize character and some of the extra characters. Let’s get the premium character out of the way though, first.
Triton is the premium recruitable character for this episode. And I believe LockJaw is still available as well. He’s regular premium price at 495 so hopefully, you saved your rebate credits from LockJaw and doing those offers daily. His main thing is that he will add Yellow keys to the mission board and is an Enhanced Toxicity fighter.
Gorgon is the normal recruitable character and he’s recruitable in the same fashion as Medusa was but for this episode. To get him you will need 60 Yellow Terrigen Crystals from the Topaz Relics, 10 Customized Pants (The FAQ lists parts but that is wrong) from the Golden Cat Loki Statue(more on this later), and 8000 Attilan Artifacts.
Ms. Marvel gets a costume in her Secret Wars outfit. To get it you will need 28 Moon Rocks from fighting Karnak, 200 Red and 300 Yellow Terrigen Crystals, and 40,000 Attilan Artifacts. On top of all that you have 7 days from when you start the quest or the costume is gone forever.
The last unlockable is from the premium crate for the episode and it contains Cat Loki. Yep. For only 70 shards a pop you can get the chance to unlock this costume which will make Loki actually good in combat. Also in this crate are MODOK, Squirrel Girl, Lizard, and Moon Girl as well as a bunch of event items. Good Luck.
To continue past this episode you will face off with Karnak now as well as more AIM cronies that are hiding in the bushes at the academy. It’s a thing. Also, you can still get King Iron Man this week too.
