Variety is repoting that Lizzy Caplan (The Disaster Artist, Mean Girls) is in talks to join Channing Tatum in 20th Century Fox’s Gambit. The actress, who has also been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is currently in talks for the female lead in the upcoming X-Men spinoff film. The film, which will be directed by Gore Verbinski, has been long in development but is finally moving forward and just recently set a release date. Details regarding her role are currently being kept under wraps for the time being. Many had recently wondered if actress Lea Seydoux, who had been previously cast as the female lead when Doug Liman was set to direct, was still attached to the role. Well, I’d sayt this pieces of news likely clears that one up. Let us know what you think about this casting addition in the comments section below.
