Black Lightning officially got lit on The CW this week as the highly anticipated premiere aired on Tuesday with a success! The CW has released the official synopsis for episode 4 of the first season titled “Black Jesus” which will air on Tuesday, February 6.
The episode teases our hero continuing on his quest to stop the 100 gang while a new drug is hitting the community. This drug will be known as “Green Light” which one of the showrunners revealed in an interview earlier this week. Catch the synopsis below, but be aware of potential spoilers.

Meanwhile, familiar faces begin to reappear. Christine Adams, James Remar, Damon Gupton III and Marvin Jones also star. The episode was written by Pat Charles and directed by Michael Schultz (#104).
