DC’s Titans has kicked off production in Toronto, Canada but casting for more characters are currently underway. It appears though that the show is potentially casting one of the most iconic Teen Titans members of all time. Our friends at That Hashtag Show has revealed another casting breakdown, with a little assistance on our part that the show is currently casting “Ruth Gibbs”.
“[RUTH GIBBS] Female, 20s, Caucasian or Latina or Middle Eastern, or ethnically ambiguous. Confident and kick ass. Educated. RECURRING GUEST STAR THIS SEASON WITH AN OPTION FOR SERIES REGULAR NEXT SEASON.”
“Ruth” sounds like none other than…Donna Troy a.k.a. Wonder Girl who was one of the original members of the Teen Titans! Given the notion that they are looking to cast her as a recurring guest star, with the option to star as a series regular in Season 2, the character is definitely a big one, which is why THS and we think it’s Donna.

It would make a lot of sense for many reasons for Wonder Girl to join the upcoming DC series. Besides the fact that she is one of the original members, the Wonder Woman world is hotter more than ever. Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman film starring Gal Gadot has become the biggest hit in the DCEU.
It would make sense for Warner Bros. TV to want to join in on the popularity by having the series introduce someone Wonderful to the small screen. Only time will tell if this is Donna or not, but it sure sounds like her!

Starfire, Rachel Roth a.k.a. Raven, Garfield Logan a.k.a. Beast Boy, Hank Hall a.k.a. Hawk, Dawn Granger a.k.a. Dove and Detective Amy Rohrbach respectively. Johns, Akiva Goldsman, Greg Berlanti wrote the pilot and are attached as executive producers with Sarah Schechter.
