- Squid-Boy
Samuel Pare, a.k.a. Squid-Boy, is one of those characters you’d classify as an obscure fan favorite. He was only around for a few years in the comics, that included a cool, small appearance on the cartoon Wolverine and the X-Men. His abilities include breathing underwater, talking underwater, enhanced swimming skills and a fish-like appearance. I feel he would be great for the show. He could be a friend with the son character. In dangerous situations, he could swim ahead, providing recon for the group if need be. He could also serve as the show’s go to example for what life is like for physically altered mutants.
