Marvel Releases Stan Lee’s Final Animated Cameo with Mark Hamill

Stan Lee recently made his last cameo as an animated character alongside Mark Hamill in the most recent episode of the animated series, Avengers Assemble.

The show is in its fifth season which is titled: Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest. The episode in question focuses on the exploits of King T’Challa’s grandfather, T’Chanda and both Lee and Hamill’s characters can be seen in a flashback from the 1940s.

Lee lends his voice to an American General and gives a stern speech to Hydra mastermind, Arnim Zola, voiced by Hamill. They are also joined by Hayley Atwell, who reprises her role as the courageous Agent Peggy Carter in this WWII-themed episode.

Much like his character in this clip, Stan Lee was well known for his outspokeness against intolerance and hate.

Marvel’s Senior Vice President, Animation & Family Entertainment, Cort Lane said in a statement, “It made an impression, the things that Stan had to say about prejudice and hate. He always stood up.”

Although this will be his final appearance as an animated character following his cameos as a personified avatar on a Disney website in Ralph Breaks the Internet and the costume shop cashier in Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, Stan Lee had already filmed several live-action cameos prior to his passing. True believers should keep an eye out for Stan Lee to make appearances in Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: Far From Home.
