LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Announced with Teaser

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes are back, Marvel announced earlier today and the very same company that delivered us the first game, TT Games, will be at it again with an all-new adventure set for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. Marvel provided a synopsis of the game along with a brief teaser trailer, but it was more than enough to whip fans into a frenzy due to the raging success of their first offering.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group and Marvel Entertainment today announced LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2, an all-new, original adventure and sequel to the smash hit, LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes. Bringing together iconic Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains from different eras and realities, along with signature LEGO humor, the latest epic adventure from TT Games transports players into a cosmic battle across a myriad of Marvel locations ripped from time and space into the incredible open hub world of Chronopolis. LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be available starting November 14, 2017 for PlayStation®4, Xbox One®, and PC. The game will be released for Nintendo Switch™ later this year.

The announcement of the game is sure to satisfy those fans who purchased LEGO Marvel Avengers, but found the game wanting in many areas. The game was very much a critical success, but the Super Heroes franchise always seemed to be the better of the two. The red brick hunt in the first game gave gamers a greater sense of completion than finding them in LEGO Marvel Avengers. The Deadpool bonus missions were always a bit of fun, as well. No mention of whether or not this will return, but it’s hard to see them passing on such a popular character.

One of the other frustrations for fans with LEGO Marvel Avengers was the tedium of the levels and the fact that they had nothing to do with the game, even though they were forcing you to play through the game. The fun, free-flowing narrative of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes was a hit with critics and fans alike. LEGO does an excellent job of placing fans in iconic moments of their favorite movies, but they are also at their best when they are telling their own original stories. Seriously, they’re very good. That said, so the’s teaser for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, so take a peek and let us know what you think in the comment section.
